Anthony's Fine Food & Wine, a great new restaurant and gourmet food shop has just opened in La Canada, CA.  The food is great. Anthony is a delightful host. The wait staff is helpful without hovering. All in all a great place for a delightful lunch today.

My DIY side was inspired by the upcycled wine bottle chandelier. Using a wine barrel and cut off wine bottles the light fixture would be great both indoors and out. Now I've just got to figure out what I've done with that bottle cutter.....

 There are some notes on this tumblr site about some of the steps involved in repurposing bottles. What's interesting about this particular fixture is the scale. The bottle on the right is a typical wine bottle.
